I'm curious to know if any pooh-sized individuals are having problems staying in the raft during Crush 'n Gusher at TL. I've seen the picture of the two person raft and those holes look rather small and easy to "pop" out of. And you certainly wouldn't want to drag your bottom on the bottom...

There was a review of Crusher Gusher on this message board (or it could have been a different one) from a guy who rode it and he said pooh size people would have no problem on it. I think it's designed for adults b/c the height limit is pretty high, too.

I was more worried about not being propelled up the hill :confused3 . I could just see the mortified look on DS's face if we started going backwards down the hill because we couldn't make it up and over :) .

You don't have to worry about that, it will work perfectly every time regardless of weight.

I've never heard of this ride. Where is it and what is it all about? Can you please describe it for me??

My dh and I (both pooh size) joke that if we were to ride together they would have to get out the large "Mickey plunger" To get us up and over the hills. I am sooo looking forward to this ride!!!

:rotfl2:
Your image reminds me of a very funny story posted on these boards a year ago of a pooh-sized woman who fell out of a tube on Mayday Falls at TL. Get ready to laugh! (I can picture this happening to me!) Here it is:

Thanks for the question, I had similiar concerns.
jclark3--I'm laughing so hard I have tears rolling down my face--gotta say that it took me forever to read the post because I was laughing so hard I couldn't see. :jumping1: I have sympathy though, cause I'm sure that could easily have been me with DH, DD and DS all standing at the bottom bewildered about my disappearance!

OH MY GOSH!!! I was laughing so hard while reading that story that I was crying. My co-worker was wondering if I was going to be ok. I really needed a good laugh today. I am larger size also and can totally empathize with her.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what this crush'n gusher is and where it is???

I just remember that episode of "The Simpsons" where Homer corked up a water slide.... :rotfl2:

We just got back and rode all 3 of the different slides at Crush N Gusher on March 16th and they were great fun!
I don't think there is any way that you could get stuck on an uphill part of the slide as before the uphill there is a sharp drop preceding it so that you build up speed to clear it.
Then there are 2 more (uphills) further down the slide and by then you have built up lots of speed as well.
The uphill risers are not very long either.
The rafts have two spots on them for 2 adults to ride together (which we did) so the slides are designed for all sizes to enjoy!
Relax and remember this is Disney and they are better at this than any other amusement providers in the world.
Have fun!

Nobody has mentioned how it is for kids.

My DS is 52", so I think he meets the height requirement, but is it too fast or probable that he'll wipe out being so light weight? He's about 55 lbs, real skinny.

I'm sure it's fine for kids, I mean this is a Disney water park. He'll probably sink right into those tubes?

Can anyone share their experience with their child?

Thanks.

That story made my day. What a great sense of humour she has. :rotfl: I wonder how I would react in similar circumstanses. The pictures in my mind will stay there all day. :teeth:
