Hi. I am looking for some ideas for costumes for my DH and I for MNSSHP. Our DS is going to be Squirt from Finding Nemo (got it for only $4.99 online) but I am at a loss finding turtle costumes for adults that aren't TMNJ.
I am pretty handy with my sewing machine but I'm not really sure where to start or where to find a pattern? I thought about for the head getting some green ski masks (the kind that covers the head and leaves the face open) and adding eyes to the top. Although the movie doesn't mention Mrs. Crush, I'm going as her anyway (i.e. take Crush and add a bow and some eyelashes)
Instead of just wearing t-shirts with Crush and Mrs. Crush (DH's idea) I'd really like to make the costume or part of it myself. I thought where better to ask?!
