Legally speaking, you MUST carry your prescriptions in the individual bottles with the official prescription label on them.
Do some people just put them altogether or in the 7 day pill holders and not get caught? Yes. Is it a good idea? No.
But remember, you will be traveling internationally, so why take a chance.
My insurance requires I buy a 90 day supply at a time, but I kept the small bottles from my first 30 day supplies for travel. I take what I need for the trip, plus a few spares and put them in my carry-on. Only other things in my carry-on are a change of clothes, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a comb, a bottle of water, and a few small packages of snacks and a paperback book.
I think the bottom line is, too many people overpack with stuff they don't need. Can't believe some folks plan on taking 2 big suitcases....or more per person for a 7 day.
