Has anyone done a cruise and taken your owners locker with you? I seem to recall a thread about that a while back but I'm not having much luck with the search.:confused3 I'm planning on using my 4 day Bahama cruise (that I got when I bought into BLT) in Nov 2010. I thought I would tack on a few days at AKV before that, so I would already have my owners locker. Is it too much of a hassel, or even possible? Thanks for the input!

You should contact John at OL. They have been creatively flexible about delivering OLs to those going on the cruise. They may not be able to cover all situations, but they always seem to try to accommodate the needs of their members when possible. I know they have delivered lockers to MCO in the past.

Good luck! :)

That is exactly what we do. We stay at one resort before the cruise and then another resort after the cruise. We have the OL delivered to our first resort and picked up from the last resort. In the meantime, we take it on the cruise with us. It works great, fits under the desk for storage while on the cruise.

This is good to know! Certainly enhances the value of owning an OL...I'm still on the fence though.

Hi

We just took our OL on the Disney Magic. It worked well! We stored it in the bottom of the closet.

Be careful how you pack things in the locker. I can see how things may get broken easily by the handlers. Before we left the ship I was able to see our locker come off the ship from our balcony. The had it on top of a luggage cart just sitting there and they moved the entire cart, it was not secured and wobbly to say the least.

We had the OL delivered to OKW the night before the cruise and Brian picked it up at MCO. It worked perfectly.

In the future we will be staying at WDW for a night or 2 after the cruise which will make it easier for pickup.

Happy sailing!
