We will be doing a 4 night cruise on the Disney Wonder(?) this October. We are in a Deck 6, Category 6 room w/ veranda. Our little girl will be 22 months old then and I am trying to figure out the best sleeping arrangement for her. I am leaning toward carrying her portable bed rail with us. It is the kind that has rails that go under the mattress and then a panel that keeps her from rolling out of bed. Will this work on the sofa/twin bed? I have seen pictures of how this bed works, but can't tell if there is room for the rails to go under the sofa back when it is flipped down.

Our 26 month DS slept in the coach bed and our stateroom hostess provided us with a portable rail. On the first day she asked us if we wanted a rail and she set it up and took it down every day. It was white plastic with legs that slid under the mattress and a blue and white mesh net inbetween the plastic legs. He never fell out of bed.

We will be sailing with a 23 month old in May and plan to ask our stateroom hostess for a bed rail.
I don't know if I need to request this ahead of time or just once we board the ship. But I think that will work a lot better than a pack-n-play or taking our own rail.

Feel free to PM me after we return and I will let you know how it worked for us.

We did not request ours ahead of time and neither did the two families traveling with us. All of us were asked by our stateroom hostess if we need one and all of us received them.
