So I've been trying to 'lurk' on other people cruise meets that are sooner then ours to see if any of them have gotten their documents yet - and I can't belive how slow their boards are!!! Some haven't even gotten past the first page!
I'm really happy that I am with you guys!! I would be going crazy talking to myself!!

Time is flying! Before you know it we'll all be on the boat.
Did anyone sign up for anything yet? Clubs? Excursions? I signed my 7 year old up for club, but I think that we are going to hold off about the excursions until we are at sea. My DSIL has been telling us about everything that there is to do onboard. Sounds like we are all in for a great time.

Hi guys. I was in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving (hanging out with a disfriend) and just got back.

We have booked kids club for our grandson and we have booked excursions for 3 of the 5 cabins in our group. Everyone is doing something different. My husband and I are doing the Segway tour (we love riding Segways) and it's only 2 hours so we like the thought that we'll get back and hang out on the boat. Oldest son and his wife are doing the beach because they are the beachiest people I know. Youngest son and his girlfriend are doing the Atlantis Dolphin Meet and AquaAdventure. I think middle son,wife, grandson are going to stay on the boat but they are last minute, always running behind types so who knows. My husband's ex-wife and her husband have been gone for 3 weeks on vacation so I have not heard back from them on what they are doing yet.

We aren't planning on any excursions for Castaway Cay.

Now they are saying that it has to be under $70 a barrel closer to our sail date!!! But if you book today you don't have to pay it!!!
Doesn't seem right!!!

My parents reservation has the surcharge so hopefully they will see an OBC too! If they do, they made out well - they got DCL's OBC for booking online, DU's OBC for transferring the reservation to them, and an OBC for paying with their Disney Visa (though I think this one may void out the DCL book online credit). And they have reward dollars to apply onboard. Hmmm....looks like they're buying the drinks!

Ugh! It's hard to get time to get on the boards right now. Between Thanksgiving and having all the family here then figuring out that we need to do the boys' birthday party THIS weekend...needless to say the house has been destroyed. DH said it looked like Santa's workshop blew up in the house!

Which ebay person have you all bought fish extenders from? There is no way I am going to have time to make one. I don't know how everyone who works and has kids get things done. I stay home and still run out of time!

I got mine from a seller named ilvdisney2008. I just did a search with "fish extender" and they pulled it up. I bought 2 and they are very cute.

I just noticed you are from Missouri? Where at? I went to college in Missouri, got my bachelor and masters at SW Missouri in Springfield.

Nat, I talked to my TA yesterday about the fuel surcharge and she confirmed that I would have to cancel/rebook to get the surcharge removed (I declined as I already have excursions, etc) but she thinks that the OBC will happen before we sail anyway.

Morning all. Just had to post that I had an email from my TA this morning stating that Disney reduced the price on the Cat12's for our cruise so we got $100 back on each of the 2 Cat 12 rooms we booked. I wish the other 3 rooms had not been Cat 6's now.

Dreams Unlimited. I had an email waiting for me this morning stating that my credit card that was used to pay for the cruise would be credited back $100 for each of the two Cat12's and to give it 7-8 days for DCL to get it processed.

I hope it wasn't an Apr Fools joke in December.

That is strange. I also booked with DU and we are staying in a cat 12. I wonder why your room went down and ours didn't.

Well all I know is that I'm getting a bit bummed. I hear of everyone getting $$ back and such. And all the great deals being offered right now .
Granted I got a really good deal, but cash back is always a happy thing.

oh well.

At least we are going!
