Cruising on Points Question

Another question regarding cruising DCL on points. Are there any extra charges (besides tipping, etc.) not covered when one cruises using DVC points? Are port taxes and govt fees covered by points. DH & I booked the WB TA on the Magic for Sept and I'm the lucky one in charge of planning. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. First time using points to cruise... TIA

There is the $95 booking fee due at time of booking to MS. Also, when we booked our Baltic Cruise in October of 2008 (cruising in July 2010) we had to pay a fuel surcharge, also due in full at time of booking.

These are the only "extras" I can think of besides excursions, tipping, bar beverages, souvenirs, etc.

What about transfers to and from the port? It's been a while since I cruised on points.

Transfers to and from port are extra. I believe it is $35pp each way.
