Cruising May 29th 4 days to Bahamas

We are going on the May 29th 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. If anyone else is booked, let me know. This will be our first time on a Disney cruise but have cruised before. I want to make lunch reservation at the Whispering Canyon restaurant at the Wildnerness Lodge, unsure what time would be good. What time (approx) do you leave the boat on the day you debark? Oh if anyone has been to the Whispering Canyon, let me know what you thought

They let you off the ship from 8 to 8:30 and you have to be off within an hour or so from that. It takes a few minutes to locate your luggage and go through customs, if they stop you. They randomly stop a few people each time. The Wilderness resort is about an hour to hour and 15 minutes away from the port, depending on the traffic, so you should have plenty of time to get there by lunch. My family has eaten there and loved it.
