Has anyone here done a December cruise? We are thinking that if we went just before Christmas that it would be a wonderful family Christmas present, but we are unsure of what the weather will be like then. Can anyone offer any advice? thanks.

It should be much warmer than Canada. We cruised in January and it was in the high 70's to low 80's every day. We were able to swim on the ship and at each port. You should love it. And to answer your other question, it would be cheapest to cruise (besides hurricane season) in January to March while kids are in school (i.e. no winter breaks or spring breaks).

We went on the 3 day last December. The weather was nice - mid seventies during the day. The water at Castaway Key was cool though. There were not many people in the water, but tons of people on the beach.
