Oh my, you will love it. We just cruised to Alaska this past Aug on Holland America's Statendam cruise tour #24. Princess and Holland America are owned by the same company. In fact, we used Princess busses several times . I agree with the PP that said to take a one way cruise. You see so much more of Alaska that way. Denali is a MUST just as much as the glaciers. I agree, again, to go to cruisecritic.
We flew into Fairbanks, McKinley Explorer train to Denali and spent the night. Then took the train to Anchorage and spent the night. Took a bus to Seward where we caught the ship. We hit College Fjord, Glacier Bay, Haines, Juneau, and Ketchican.
One thing about Denali is that there are two different land tours that they offer. One just takes you a short distance into the park and is called Natl History Tour. The other takes you much deeper and is called the Tundra Wilderness Tour. I HIGHLY suggest that you get one that goes all the way.
