Cruisers April 30th?

We received our documents. Called DCL today to make excursion ressies and they said the ship is full! Lets get this party started!!!!!

Have you checked out our cruise meet thread?? There are a bunch of us on that cruise. We got our Docs last week one day but made our excursion reservations months ago.

What excursions did you decide on? Are you flying in from Detroit the day before? We leave on the direct flight from Grand Rapids on Friday afternoon, arriving Friday evening in Orlando.....

What are the ages of your kids?

My daughter Erin is 4 1/2. When we did a 3-night DCL trip last year, we could barely get our out of the kids' club, and she's already excited about this year's trip.

We're also going with some friends who have a daughter who's almost 2.

How 'bout everyone else???

Our kids are older--11 and 14. Neither one of them are too fond of the clubs, but they enjoy Scoops, the movies, and hanging out together.

We also have a daughter, Amber, who is 4 1/2 and we took her on the 4 night last May and couldn't get her out of the club either. We also have a son, Ian, who is 2 1/2 and they are both getting really excited. We are also doing a week at WDW, so it should be a fun two weeks.

I really hope we can all get together and meet sometime during the week.

we are flying out of Metro Friday @ 0700. Have booked happy limo to take us to the Radisson. We like their pool, location and accomodations. Plan on eating at Grills Friday night. (which was excellent the last time we were there) We have a large group going. My brother has five kids. 13yo boy, 11yo girl, 8yo boy, and twin 6yo girls. My 2 kids are 21yo boy and 11yo girl(she is allowed check out priviledges from the club this time and is very excited). Have booked the Doubloon excursion for St. Thomas and have reserved a car for $59 to explore St. Maarten(leaving 11 yo on board for this day- Orient Beach bound). If anybody snorkels and does not have gear Sam's Club has a great snorkel set with storage bag for 39.95. Rental @ CC is $25.00 and adds up. Are any of you planning a meeting? We like to kick up our heels at the sail away party. Bought my over the door shoe organizer , picked up the Scopalamine patches, and starting to pack this weekend!!!!!!!

We are on the 4/30 cruise also. Myself, wife and almost 6 year old son. Our 1st cruise ever. And we were lucky enough to be upgraded from a cat 8 to a cat 5.

Gosh! I feel so unprepaired! I havn't even bought all the clothes we need yet let alone pack them. We are flying out wednesday morning and possibly going to WDW for a couple days and then staying at the Raddisson saturday. I am nervous and excited at the same time. Last cruise I was so on the ball and this time I'm just not. Oh well, I guess that will make the trip more interesting.

I just finished up packing today since i have the week off from work. We are flying out on Friday morning and stopping by in the afternoon to see Shirley before checking into the Radisson.

We'll be on that cruise, too. My 2 DSs just had birthdays, so they're 4 & 6. Then there's DH, me & my mom. We fly down Fri. & stay at the Radisson that night. So far, the boys want nothing to do w/the kids club (never have on past 3 cruises), but since Grammy willbe w/us, I'llstill get to go to Palo - LOL. We'll be celebrating Easter 5/1, so the boys are psyched the Greek Easter Bunny will know where we are (he'll be hiding eggs in the cabin). If you see Easter signs on the cabin door, that's us. Love to meet all of you.

My son will be 6 at the end of May and can't wait to get into the kids clubs. He threatens that he will go in EVERY day He loved it at Atlantis in January. We also will be flying in on Friday and staying at the Raddison before the cruise.
