hey

I am traveling from the uk and doing the western Caribbean cruise on 4th Feb

I have got my ESTA to get into America

Is there any other documents or visas I need for any of the other places the ship stops at ?

Any help would be great thanks

If your cruise departs from a US port and returns to a US port (Port Canaveral and returns to Port Canaveral) that is a "closed loop" trip and you only need your entry documents for the USA, however, if you plan on going ashore at a port of call (Grand Cayman, Cozumel etc) it would do you well to take along your picture ID and also your passport. DCL takes responsibility for you going ashore at other countries and you won't be require to obtain entry documents for those places. Enjoy your cruise!

I would check online for requirements for UK visitors to those other countries and see what those are and whether there are exceptions or specific requirements when cruising. You'll usually find such information on embassy or immigration websites. If there are additional visa requirements, you'll normally need to have those even if you don't leave the ship unless there are exceptions (e.g., in Russia, you don't need a visitor visa if you don't leave the ship but other locations require proper visas even if you don't leave the ship as long as you are in their waters). Best to err on the side of caution as you won't be allowed to even board the ship if you don't have the right paperwork up front.

This is not correct for international travelers. The DCL website states very clearly that everyone is responsible to have the appropriate documentation for all the destinations on the cruise. So, if someone is from a very far away country (like Mongolia for example), they really need to take care to have the right visas in place for Mexico, Grand Cayman and Jamaica (or wherever their cruise is going).

OP, I am pretty sure you will be fine on a Western Caribbean. A good starting point to look up travel requirements for UK citizens would be here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice Just look up all the countries the cruise is visiting (Mexico, Cayman Islands and Jamaica).

If you are a UK Citizen you don't need anything else for the Western Caribbean (or the Eastern). Enjoy your cruise!
