I have read in a few places about the cards. We will be taking our first ever DCL cruise in January. Can somebody tell me what the cards are all about, and is it true that they are going away? It is myslef, my DW (and Disney Devotee!!); and our DS (4).

Take a look at the great web site www.castawayclub.com.

It has pictures of all the trading cards. Many of which have been retired. If you need some of the older ones, let me know. If you can get extras of the cards you do find on board, great, there's several of us who whould love to trade with you.

It also has a lot of information on activity on board so you can plan ahead of time. Wish I knew about the site before I went.

I heard the same thing that the cards are being discontinued. I'm trying to complete my collection but am finding it difficult.

The trading cards are new to me....where and how do you get them? Do you purchase them at the gift shop, or do they actually just give them away?

The cards use to be free for the asking. Almost any of the ship's crew had them. Different crew members had different cards. It was a challenge to try to collect them all.

Lately, they've cut back on the cards they give out. Some of the shows still have them.

Good luck in collecting and get a few extras so you can trade them here.

A lot of us have the older ones and would love to trade for some of the new ones.

I don't know if most people know this, but there is also an Airport card and a Port Card.
