Cruise, then to VB?

We are thinking of going on the 4 day cruise and then go on to Vero Beach. How would one get between Port Canaveral and Vero? Is there a place to rent a car at PC?

We did the four day cruise followed up by the VB trip it was very relaxing. We rented from Budget, droppeed the car off and they shuttled my DH to PC and the same on the return trip. On the return trip we were suppossed to get a mimi van but they were out so we wound up with an EXCURSION! The kids loved it but my DH was used to driving his little Honda sports car and the gas milagemade him quiver !!
Perfect end to a perfect vacation!

We rented a car after our cruise with National. They are a bit away so they instructed us to grab a cab at the terminal (which was very easy). They reimbursed us $10 of the cab fair, which I believe was about $15 or $20 (can't really remember). We traveled around Florida a bit and ended up in WDW. We dropped the car off there at the Orlando airport. I know you could drop back off at whatever airport you would be flying out of. They are really flexible. We have used them every trip down.

I rented a car from Budget. We'll be on the Magic next summer, then off to VB for 3 nights. Will be taking the shuttle from the ship to Budget, then returning to MCO. I found Budget to be much less $$ than Avis, which is the other rental car company which provides shuttles from the port.
