We are thinking about the Western Carribean cruise in mid August. Does anyone know about the sea and weather conditions. I know its the hurricane season.

We are doing the Western at the end of August, so any experts, your expertise is welcomed.

Or past cruisers from this year, was the heat that unbearable on the Western at the end of August.

We went on the Western cruise last August 2nd. We had the best week weather wise with relatively calm seas. I heard that the following week wasn't as good. You are always rolling the dice with August. That's why we picked the beginning of the month.

We cruised on the Voyager of the Seas the last week of August last year. Basically it's the same itinerary as the Magic with the exception of Key West. The weather was hot and humid. The sea was very calm. HTH

We sailed in mid August this past year. I was hot, but I didn't think it was any hotter than being outside at home in the summer. Just make sure you take bottled water with you on any excurtions. I thought it was nice while on the ship. You get plenty of ocean breeze. The water was VERY calm. One day, it looked like glass. I've never seen water that calm before!::yes::

DITTO!

We found that it was much too hot after 11AM to enjoy outside activities!
