Hello!

We are headed on our first (surprise b-day) cruise in May, 2015. I am looking for items that would be helpful for the kids easter baskets. I already have beach towels and swim masks. The kiddos are dd18, ds16 and ds10.

Thanks!

You won't need to bring beach towels. The cruise ship will provide you one and can be exchange for a fresh one. You can take them off the ship.

sunscreen, aloe, motion sickness pills, disposable underwater camera. new swimsuits, flipflops, itunes cards to load new games/music while traveling.
Instead of buying a lot of stuff, how about a nice excursion?

How about a Gift Card for the Cruise line. I did that last year. We went on a Carnival Cruise in June and bought each of the kids a $100 Gift Card for Carnival. Once on the ship we had them linked to the cards and the kids had their own spending money and didn't have to ask every time they wanted to buy something or get a smoothie or go to the arcade. (Figured we would be spending the money anyway).

I love the small sunscreen that comes with a clip attached so it can be easily carried everywhere (I get them for each of us and take a larger bottle of the same type to do re-fills if needed), if anyone wears glasses/sunglasses-the straps to keep them on (esp. if they opt to do a banana boat ride), we like the waterproof plastic carriers that you wear around your neck (on board it's how we carry our room entry cards). my kids don't like flip flops so we always did water shoes (helpful for beach use as well).
