Cruise points

Is there anywhere on the internet where points for cruises are posted? I haven't joined yet and am curious....

Here are some examples for 2005:

3-Night point range: 71-263 points per an adult (cheap season to high, CAT 11-4)

4-Night point range: 87-282

7-Night Eastern: 141-455

7-Night Western: 149-456


Cruising on points is not the best value, but it does save on the inconvenience of renting your points out. Some will rent their points to pay the cruise and then have extra points or more money left over. Let us know if you have other questions!

Right, per first 2 passengers. 3rd/4th adult/kids a bit cheaper.

For example on renting points, we paid $2400 for a 4 night in May, 2 adults 2 kids. It would have taken us 340 pints. If we rented the points out for $10 per point we would have been $1000 ahead.

yes, and the points for kids are broken down to 13 & up, 6-12, 3-5 . the points are lower by about 50-70 points. plus you have to pay a $75 booking fee, if you need to change anything on the ressies you have to pay another $75 booking fee. cruise ressies gets cancel your points remain as reservation points and can only be used at non dvc resorts.

So renting your points could help pay for your cruise, right? Say rent the points for $11 a point, then use that $ to help pay for the cruise?

Right, you could rent your points and apply the money toward a cruise, if you wish.
