Cruise Photos- gone :(

I missed that the cruise photo package photos are only available for a limited time after the cruise, I went to go download some and they are gone and I found the email in my email from last week saying they were going to expire (it was in junk of course) I am totally screwed? I immediately emailed, should I try calling? I am so so sad, mad at myself for not catching this, I dragged my family to so many photographers also, we had like 400 photos Has anyone had any luck getting photos after the expiry date?

I would email them, which you have already done. We had a problem with the photos on the Dream a few years ago and they were able to retrieve them. Good luck!

Hi, I forgot to download mine too after our cruise in December. So many precious memories of my kids gone. Did you get a response and your photos when you emailed them?

At $300 they could add an option (at a reasonable price) for a flash drive that you pickup before disembarking (or have it mailed for an extra charge). Things get hectic post vacation and you forget to download. For many of our WDW trips I created photo books and it was hard to navigate/modify photos and very slow (sometimes wouldn’t save either). It was so stressful.

Also, for the cruise photo books there were no instructions that you needed to edit the photobook every night at shutters (no photos on the last day). We hadn’t been in a decade and forgot to do that (maybe there should be a notification or reminder). We got refunded and upgraded to the all incl photo package instead.

This is exactly how it used to be pre-covid. I have a small collection of DCL flash drives from collecting them on the last night of the cruise. I get that everything in the world is trending towards online only/the cloud, but it's not an infallible system.

I wish they could make it a little more flexible. For us we got straight into the holidays right after the vacation and things just fell off the radar. Having different deadlines for folio vs photos didn't help either.
