Hi Everyone. We recently went on our first WDW trip in October and are now looking forward to planning another trip which will also include a Disney Cruise. For those of you that have done both back to back which do you prefer first, the cruise or WDW? I'm just curious what you've found has worked best for your family.

TIA!!!!

My family did both last summer. We spent a week at WDW and then took a 4-night cruise on the Dream. I would definitely recommend doing WDW first. The cruise is much more relaxing. Our days at WDW were very busy and our family was exhausted at the end of most days from all the walking and travel time. It was so nice to have a few days of complete relaxation on the Disney Dream before heading home.

Our first cruise was WDW, cruise, WDW. I found out that I feel seasick for a good while AFTER I get off the cruise. This time, no WDW after. Only before :)

I would do WDW then cruise... running around the parks, getting up early, late nights leading into a nice relaxing cruise

Agree with PP -- parks first, cruise after. The cruise is like liquid relaxation (which you can enjoy while you're floating across the ocean en route to your relaxation destination).

Funny enough,I'm about to do my first cruise and I'm doing the cruise first! Then 9 days at the parks after,
I would just be far to sad to get off the cruise and fly home, so that's why we've done it this way round,
A cruise can be as busy or relaxing as you want or to be..
I'm Quite happy to relax then enjoy the parks.

My family has done it both ways and it is MUCH better to do WDW before the cruise.
