cruise music

Does anyone know how to aquire the music they play on the cruise in the pool area? It is so rhythmic, and so awesome. I cannot find it on any Disney CD's I have bought. It is kind of like a remix type of music. I would like to know how I can find it....Thanks! Jamie

I have been looking for that also. However, you might want to try Beauty and the Beat. I thought it would be the remix stuff, but it was Disney songs adapted to the steel drum band. We play that and another (steel drum band dance party) all the time.

I have also been on a quest for cruise music..lol

I did find a CD at downtown disney called La Vida Mickey..it only has a couple of the songs I heard on the cruise but it's still a pretty cute CD!

I heard a lot of the songs that are on my Radio Disney Jams CD's -- there are 5 of them out, now -- and I usually buy them on Half.com.

There are also some from La Vida Mickey as well as the new Lilo and Stitch CD. There were also a lot of songs from the Playhouse Disney shows, but I'm not sure what CD they would be on.

I know that does not cover all the songs they played -- but many of them were familiar.

The music might be from the "Mouse House: Disney's Dance Mixes" CD from 1996. We found it in 2000 at the Virgin Records Megastore at DTD Westside. Or there is always eBay.

We love it and listen to it all the time!

I thought of another one: "Disney's Music from the Park" also from 1996. It has a lot of famous artists (Patti Austin, Tim Curry, Barenaked Ladies, Pointer Sisters, etc.) singing famous Disney songs (Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, A Pirate's Life for Me, Part of Your World, etc.). I think I bought my copy on eBay.

I have that music from the park cd and I love it-I generally only listen to Grim Grinning ghosts, A dream is a wish (makes me cry every time, too!) and remember the magic, though. PiperG, where did you find that Beauty and the Beat cd? that sounds awesome!!

there's a house of mouse (the Saturday morning cartoon) CD that has "I am Panchito" on it-it's been a month and I still have that song running through my head!

Here's another vote of Beauty and the Beat! We love it. Everytime we listen to it, it takes us back to the cruise.
