you needed 10 posts . i had the problem also. Welcome to the fish exender group!! Enjoy your cruise!Hello,
Please add me to your FE List, I have tried to email to confirm and have not heard as of yet. Cabin 9521.
Thank you so much.
Our cruise is itenerary B, what night is pirate night? Also, does anyone know what kind of entertainers will be on board? Last year we saw a really funny comic act. We also enjoyed the Match Your Mate game too.
First off, WELCOME! I am sure your kiddo will have a blast. Our oldest took a cruise when he was 2, now 7, and had a blast!!! If he isn't potty trained you can't place him in the clubs but he can go to the nursery if mommy and daddy need a break. He can play in the clubs with you with him. Our son was 2 and they let him in with us for some running around and fun. But I am sure you will be so busy!
Atlantis park is fun. Probably more fun if you like the heat and sun!We have been before. We now prefer to hang on the ship in Nassau to avoid the crowds. We do walk to the straw market. You can get some neat things for very little if you are willing to negotiate. If you aren't good at trying to work a deal and walking away if you dont like the deal... skip the straw market. Everything is really marked up. Usually about half of what they ask is pretty fair.
You need no cash ON the ship, unless you want to pay tips in cash. If you plan to spend some in the port of Nassau that is all you will need. I recommend smaller bills because not many people can make the change from larger bills. $1 and $5s work well. Most places take credit cards.
You will all have a blast!
With our eyes in the tropics here in Florida the time seems to be going much slower. Hoping everyone stays safe in the path of Isaac and the other blobs coming off of Aftica. Ugh.
The trajectory (sp?) is for it to hit Alabama now. I'm on the west coast in FL - Sarasota. I don't expect to see anything big, just some rain and maybe good shelling opportunities within the next few days.
I think b/c its one of the first (possible) hurricanes of the season, everyone is making a huge deal out of it.![]()
Things are a shifting!!!!![]()
we are in Clearwater so our eyes and ears are open.
Posting again--
Here are some guidelines I snagged (then modified) from another thread:
Guidelines for our fish extender:
1. Each cabin is to provide AT LEAST one gift to each cabin participating in the fish extender. You can provide a gift to each person within that cabin, just the kids, or one gift for the whole cabin...that is up to you. Of course, you are welcome to give more than one gift...but the minimum is one.
2. All gifts are to be delivered between the cruise leaving port on Sunday, until 4 PM on Wednesday September 12th. This gives people time to still be able to pack their bags on September 12 before we leave the ship the morning of September 13th.
Here is a list of IDEAS of what you might want to bring for the FE on the cruise...to add to your packing list if you'd like:
1. The FE gifts that you are making/preparing.
2. An FE pocket/hanger to hang outside your cabin. You can find them on eBay by searching "Fish Extenders" or you can make one or search on line other places.
3. A zip tie to help attach your FE HANGER. Some people have commented theirs have sadly walked away...but if you attach it with a zip tie...then it is not as likely to walk away.
4. Scissors to cut the zip tie when you're packing...LOL! Don't want to leave it for someone else.
