Let the pixie dust fly! Got upgraded to a cat 7a verandah - 8662, from my oceanview 9C!

Since I know from the Facebook group, people had there rooms changed. I went and saw our reservation, and our stateroom is different now, 6018

Us too, from 8B ocean view to 5D veranda

Us too! We went from a 9C Oceanview to a 7A Navigators Veranda!

Well it looks like the pixie dust got sprinkled our way too. I hope they don't change it back.

NOW I just need that same dust to spinkle on my job situation! I hope we can still go.

We went from an 8C Family Oceanview to a 5B Verandah.

Just logged in and see that we've been moved from our 8C to a 5D! So we're now in stateroom 6648. Wow! Still in shock about that-do we think that means the ship will be less crowded?

To the best of my memory, you can not sign up for the kids clubs online, this has to be done at the port or on ship... due to signatures needed and security proceedures. I am not 100% but last I knew this was how they handled it.

We got a upgrade from 9C to 7A.

WooHoo Pixie Dust flew my way too, was in cat 9A Oceanview #8004 now we are now cat 6B #5682 with Verandah. Now I don't have to worry about finding my room after having a few too many in the nightclubs, cause hehe, our room is right above them. Called DCL just to confirm all this with them and all's a go. Oh and we got a return of a whopping $12.44 for gov't fees. I am doing the happy dance right now

However when I look at the deck plans it has 8522 as a 5B. I guess I should call, as right now I am slightly confused.

Congratulations on the almost instant upgrade! Your reservation will show the original category you booked (even after an upgrade).

We're very excited to be on the Fantasy for a whole week rather than 4nts on the Dream.

We appreciate the upgrade from Disney but just discovered it is a connecting room. My husband and I are very light sleepers and have the worst luck with neighbors. We always end up getting the family with screaming children at 4am.

We have contacted our travel agaent, she is going to TRY to get us another room but isn't too hopeful

Hopefully, we can get a differnet room or if not our neighbors are super quiet!

You should be able to call DCL (or have your TA do it) and have a note placed on your account "Do not upgrade". At least I remember seeing someone else on the boards doing that.

Made our ressie today, a little ticked, but made them anyway. I looked online this morning @ 7 AM and they were offering the outside cabin for $2902 for a family of three. We called our TA (family member) @ 8 and she called to book it and they had pulled the offer....I should have booked it myself.....GRRRR. We settled for the inside for $100.00 more. This is our 9th cruise so we are hoping for an upgrade, but if it does not happen, we will just be happy to be on the ship. We do not stay in the cabin that much, so we can live with it....
