So true! When I heard our schools were going to stop teaching cursive writing, I was floored. Then again, I don't know how to read a sundial or a slide rule.

Not a problem. The heart shaped graphic with the banner, what you want it is too many words. What do you want left out? Vow renewal or the date?

Your schools have stopped teaching Cursive?? WOW! Ours still teach it, and if they dont' "I" will!

Shorthand, I never thought of how long ago that was taught and the fact that it isnt' taught anymore! But then again, kid who has a cell phone knows shorthand, self taught! (That probably explains the increase in kids who can't spell) Or maybe it was kids who can't spell that came up with that form of Shortform, for texting, and it just took off like wildfire to everyone else?

They are taught to read it but don't spend all the time that we did perfecting it. It will be obsolete by the time ds9 is an adult.
I work in radiology; our doctors dictate reports with voice recognition software. Our images are all digital and software is set up so techs can be paperless. The future will eventually be paperless. That's what today's kids are being prepared for. Who knows what things will be like in 10 yrs.

For the heart shaped ones, I rather have the date on them and leave vow renewal off. One of those days DH will get around to putting a sheet of metal up in our bedroom that I can display our magnets there and it will be nice to have the dates on the magnets. By the way, my name is Corinna (1 "r", 2 "n").

Hi Millie! My boys are huge Harry Potter fans. We are going to Universal before our cruise. Could you do a Harry Potter themed magnet?? Liam would love to be in Hufflepuff. My family and I are sailing on the August 28th - September 8th Mediterranean cruise on board the Disney Magic and we would love to have some magnets to decorate our doors! I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the info here, but I think I have it right. Apologies if I've mixed this up!
