Hi,
Somehow my points were stacking up- so I booked a cruise in the middle of some days at WDW.

I am so excited! Can't wait to get back home to OKW and can't wait to experience a cruise. DH (aka 'the Capt- he is a licensed capt) is excited, as is DD and DS. DD and DS are out in the pool practicing their snorkeling skills!

Anyhow- would love if my fellow DVCers could offer up some cruise advice- anything would be helpful.

I would love to know if you think the kids will be able to swim onboard in December (we are taking the 3 night cruise on Dec 20th).

thanks in advance,
Martha
p.s. Just love, love, love Disney at Christmas time!

We cruised in November and it was no trouble. The pools were very comfortably heated! Even in December, I would think swimming in the pool will be fine. It was a little cool in the water at Castaway Cay- but not enough to stop us from snorkeling or swimming. December might be iffy.

You will love the cruise!!!

We went on one of our cruises in December and had no problem at all with the kids swimming. It was perfectly fine having the kids in the pools then. You'll enjoy the cruise. We have really enjoyed our cruises and are planning another one soon!:goodvibes We also snorkeled at Castaway Cay then and it wasn't cold at all.
