Being there were no rooms on Dream using points, had to book online using cash. :eek:MY question is, there was no place to let them know we are DVC members. We don't want to miss out on any DVC little perks, so does anyone know if they will add a note to our reservation stating we are DVC members if we call them to let them know? Would like to know before hanging on phone for a while before getting a CM to speak to. :surfweb:Thanks!!

You could call in advance and ask for a note to be added. Or, you could just speak to a castmember at the DVC desk in the terminal (if it's attended) or onboard ship. On our two cruises as DVC members, once Disney "magically" knew already and once we had to stop by the cruise desk onboard to make sure we were invited to the Member reception and got any other perks available.

I'm going on the Dream in May. I'm also a DVC member but have no clue about any kind of DVC perks onboard the cruises. I guess I should try and look into this. ;)

You just have to let them know at the DVC desk...either leave a little note with your room number or talk to the CM. SOmetimes they have it together already, sometimes not.

The perks are an invitation to member celebration (lots of goodies given away) invitations to the sales pitches, hats, lanyards, pins, sometimes a "memory box," etc.

If you booked with a travel agent have them notify DCL that you are a DVC member. If you booked on your own, you could call them and have them note it on your reservation.

I've gotten a magnet on my door as well as some other nice goodies. Also don't forget to stop by the DVC desk on board. I did that on the Magic and they remember me when I would see them around the ship.
