Cruise Documents!

Wow. Your husky must be one courageous dog! Raccoons are TOUGH beasties! And can fight like tigers. :scared1: Yes, wild hogs are pretty bad. My stepson loved hunting for them while living here. They are very real threat to agriculture here. And an animal one does NOT want to mess with if hiking, biking, etc.

Ah, the things we go through for our daily DCL Doc Watch, huh? :rotfl2:

:happytv: yes, we need some form of entertainment to get through the daily DCL grind.

Raccoons are tough and vicious but my dog is a powerhouse and a super predator. Yeah...those hogs do not look like fun and my friend was telling me they dig up their lawns and it's just chaos so I'm glad we don't have them up north.

In other news....I finally got my documents! :cool1: I am in true countdown mode now.

32 days from our Alaska cruise and still no blue book. BIL/SIL got theirs 2 weeks ago and they are newbies. Darn Pony Express only comes through once a week here.

Woohoo!!! Don't know why lots of us still love getting that little packet so much, unless it's that it's finally "real". :cutie:

Pony Express.... :rotfl2:

It's totally juvenile, but I was disappointed my my "blue book" was Halloween-ey. We didn't intend to be on a Halloween cruise, just needed an early Sept. cruise. SOoooo totally first world problem, right? :goodvibes Feeling blessed to be able to go, Halloween or not!

I compare it to getting Magicbands. It's just exciting and means your vacation is right around the corner. We should enjoy the packets while we can because I don't see DCL sending them out in the near future. They're expensive to mail and you really don't need them because you can print everything online and take it with you.

Excellent point. :cutie: Well, if that does indeed happen, I sure hope they give an option to those of us that want the docs mailed. There was some sort of option when I did my online Check-In I think..... something like documents with only highlights or full information. That's a bad paraphrase, but something like that. I chose the full info option of course!

I think I read on here a while back that Royal and even Carnival no longer send out documents. I still need to do my online check-in. I would definitely want the full option as well aka the entire experience. I've been to WDW more times than I can count, but I still prefer to check-in with a real person and get the map and spiel vs going directly to the room.

29 days until Alaska and still no documents. Oh well, Pony Express comes through on Mondays, maybe just maybe !
Keeping a sharp look-out for that little blue book. :sail:

Hi Guys.... Just 31 days until our Christmas cruise with Mickey and his Friends.
I have noticed that cruise docs are mailed to us on the same day we receive an email titled -

"Some helpful information for the xxxxxx Party Disney cruise!"

The docs are then put in our mail box 4 days later since we are on the West coast.
I am not sure if this is the norm for everyone but it have held true for us.
Anyone else had this happen to you for your cruises?

Take Care.....Have a great Thanksgiving Day.
:tinker: :smickey: party:

It is an auto generated email that some get and some don't...the travel docs you get in the mail are most important to have with you though.
If one does NOT get the docs in time, that is not a big deal either as the luggage tags can be written up and attached at the port and the check in process in the terminal will still get done regardless.
Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
