Cruise Docs Name Problem - Need Expert Opinions!!!!

Cruise docs came yesterday and they had the wrong last name for one of the kids. I called DCL and then our TA and the TA said they contacted DCL and that they have changed the manifest and we won't get new docs, but we will not have any problems because her cruise docs don't match her birth certificate.

Does this sound right to you great folks out on these boards??

Everything else I have read says that if the names don't match you are hosed!?!?!?!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

It would seem to be that DCL should be able to fax something to your TA stating the name change and that everything would be alright and they would have the new documents for you when you check in. Or why can't DCL overnight your documents to your TA. Your TA got a commision, make them work for it!!!

Last year they spelled my son's name wrong and told me to make the correction on the document and all would be okay because the information was in their computer system. It worked out fine but if it were a last name I would want some type of confirmation on DCL letterhead stating they had made the change.
