Cruise Deposit...split payment?

I apologize if this has been asked before I searched and did not come up with an answer.

I am looking to book our next cruise and have always paid our deposit in full with one form of payment at time of booking online.

I'm looking to find out if I can call and use two forms of payment for the deposit as I have my Disney visa redemption card with a significant balance I would like to put towards the initial deposit and then use my card to cover the difference I would owe for the deposit. Has anyone been able to do this?

While I haven't done it, I see no reason it wouldn't work. You may have to do it by phone, however. Don't know if the computer system can handle it.

I was able to pay my deposit with a gift card and my credit card. I did have to call to have the gift card applied to the deposit first.

We've split payment between two cards (a card for each traveller) with absolutely no problem!

Yes. Just don't wait until the last day. There may always be an issue with the system, so try to pay off at least 2 days in advance!
