(Standing up and rasing hand) I am a newbie here, and I want to cruise. I am trying to find the dates of the 4-night cruise for say June/July 2006. Is there a place where I can get a list of dates yet? I am just starting to plan this trip for my self and my two sons (they will be 14 and 15 at the time). I know I will have a million questions so please be gentle with me. Thanks in advance.

Sherry,
Assuming you haven't done this already, go to the Disney Cruise Line Web site.
Click, cruises. Click 4 night Bahamian cruise. Click View dates. I do this regularly as I dream of adding on to my cruise dates. Are you considering other cruise lines as well?
I have only done Disney once but have two more coming up and am getting REAL!!!! excited.

Thanks for your help! At this point, I am just starting this process. I have never cruised, but my kids and I want to try this out. We have done the disney many times, and now want to expand to land/sea. (really will be land/sea/land). I have pulled a bunch of info from the internet and it is very overwelming to read it all. Guess it will kill a few New England Winter nights reading and planning. :earboy2:

We had never cruised either. The three day seemed too short. The four day may well have been okay, but we opted for the seven day western in March. It was wonderful. The best vacation we ever had. Keep in mind that we are vacation club and have had some great vacations. The ship is overwhelming from the time you see it . The excitement doesn't stop and you are almost in a daze boarding the ship. We are going on the relocation cruise in May and also have booked the member cruise in September. Each one has special things that Disney will do to make it memorable. Ex. celebrity singers to entertain. Disney artists giving demonstrations. Don't forget Castaway Cay the Disney island. The characters are all over the ship. There was even a dance party in the oceaneer lab where Goofy danced with the kids.
This is the only way to go if you have kids of about any age to get the most wonderful memories of a lifetime.

I am very excited to be planning this, and my kids are too. We are going to do the 4 day, just to be sure we like it, then the next time we will go from there. I feel so foolish, I could plan the land part of this trip with my eyes closed, yet this seems so confusing. Guess as I get into it, it will get easier. Unfortunately for us, with both kids in high school at that point our dates are somewhat limited. I think we are going to try for early july. Time will tell. Thanks so much for your input.
