Cruise credit options?

Looks like our Hawaii cruise is out. We’ll wait til DCL cancels it and gives us options. Can the credit ( hopefully more than 100%) be used to book 2 rooms instead of the one room we have for the Hawaii cruise? Otherwise I’d have an obc amount I would not normally use up given the price diff on the replacement cruise

We are actually wondering the same thing...we are supposed to head to alaska but will probably re book on another itinerary which will be cheaper...

All previous discussions said it could only be applied to one future cruise

But could it be two rooms on the one cruise?

Up until now we havent seen that as an option (or the reverse for those with an expensive Med cruise planned that maybe wanted to do 2 rooms in the Caribbean).

FWIW, I dont see any cruiselines offering that kind of flexibility. Im mostly following DCL, MSC and Carnival but have been trying to at least keep an eye on what all the lines are offering, mostly because I feel the responses may greatly influence who I am willing to cruise with in the future. The best MSC has offered so far is credit moved to another cruise but no OBC if new cruise is less. Based on everything I cant see myself booking another expensive MSC cruise far off in the future. I may be open to sailing them on a last minute type deal but theyve lost my trust.

on higher priced cruises, it seems they would want to be a little flexible in the options. Otherwise it pushes people to a refund. We are on a 10 night Hawaii cruise. I would be open to getting 2 rooms on a 5 or 7 night cruise rather than one room and lots of obc on a 7 night cruise

No one knows for sure. So far, it sounds like no.
If this is the case I am going to have to consider cancelling my 2021 cabins on our cruise for next and re-booking them separately. Right now I have both of them together on one reservation, but if this type of thing was to go down again next year, I would be stuck. I really want to get confirmation on whether or not this is or is not going to be an option for this year.

We have two rooms booked and even booked them at the same time, but they are separate reservations. I get double the email/mail about movements. They are linked, but not the same reservation.

My is on the same reservation. I have one reservation number. I am going to have to keep a close eye on this.

I've never heard of DCL giving 1 reservation number for 2 cabins? Did you book through a TA, and the TA somehow grouped them as 1?

Yes, Dreams booked them under one number. I mean, there could be another number, but I haven't seen one and the OBC for both cabins is coming to my cabin directly.

I book 2 cabins on every cruise we take, and they always have 2 separate numbers in Disney’s system. The separate reservation numbers show up on the dcl website and app.

I have always received two separate reservation numbers as well.

Does anyone know if you opt for the credit if you could use it to add a land package to it? We have never booked a land and sea so I’m not quite sure how that works.

But could it be two rooms on the one cruise?

i asked that question and told no. I wanted to book 2 cabins for myself and grandkids. My credit would cover both rooms. Told no, only 1 Cruise Cabin

i use Dreams Unlimited to book 2 cabins. While they are both together in my dreams unlimited client file, they are always 2 different dcl reservations

Chances are it's a Dreams booking number (for the whole reservation), but the number on the DCL records would have separate reservation numbers for each room.
