Many times the countdown is clickable and will take you to the site it's made on.

Start here: http://www.nauticalcities.com/tickers/

You will need to register for a free account. Once you've registered for the free account, follow the steps to create the ticker. Once created, there will be three boxes with different styles of code to use. I selected all of the code in the third box and pasted that into the box for 'edit signature' under 'user cp'.
