Cruise cancelled using points

Hi so I booked a cruise using some DVC points. If the cruise gets cancelled is DVC allowing those points to go back to regular dvc points??

Not according to the reports I've read. AFAIK, the reservation point rules have not been waived -maybe they will address this when they announce what they will / can do for the vacation points lost due to the closure.

Once your points are converted they are converted forever. Doubt that changes.

It didn't for the hurricanes, in any event, and there were some pretty angry DVC members in that. But it's also one of the hazards of trading points for cruises or Disney Collection.

They can be used for another cruise or for a reservation at most non-DVC Disney Resorts.

You could use them for any of the options in the Disney Collection (which includes the DCL & non-DVC Disney resorts), the Concierge Collection or Adventures By Disney.

It sure would be nice for DVC to waive that fee, too.
