Cruise cancel question

I'm back with another stupid question lol. I have moved a cruise before (moved our Christmas merrytime cruise 2020 to June 7 2021), but can you just move your deposit funds to another booked cruise? We have the June 7 Dream cruise booked and aren't sure if we want to be some of the first passengers back, really don't want to be guinea pigs in this situation, but we have a 2022 eastern carribean booked for April that I was wondering if we could move that deposit money to. If we can't I'll just take the return and go pay on my balance for that cruise, but it would be so much easier to call and have them move it. Just wanted to know before I call about what direction I should take, thanks for any and all help!

Yes you can absolutely move the money from your Dream cruise to the Eastern one you have booked, no problems there! We do it ALL the time (esp during these covid times).

Yes, I just confirmed with a DCL rep that you can move/change your cruise up until your payoff date.

Thank you both! Will definitely give DCL a call tomorrow while the kids are at school (both cruises are being kept a secret for now in case we had to cancel or move them, glad we’ve done that!).

Just wanted to update that I was able to move the money this morning, so easy! Now fingers crossed ships can start sailing sooner rather than later, and that 2022 sees a return to some kind of "normal".
