Just wondering if you all would compare the comfort of the cruise beds to that of Disney's resorts' beds. I get the impression with the rocking of the boat-it may not even matter-we'll be out like a light-but, still--just wondering!! Thanks everyone! :wave2:

I found them very uncomfortable. We stayed in a suite at the Grand Califonian last week and the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever been in - almost as comfortable as my bed at home.

As far as a bed goes it was pretty comfortable...the only thing that was VERY uncomfortable on bot hcruises was the big bump in the middle of the two single beds when they attempt to join them to make on big bed. My daughter kept pushing me over to try to get me to lay on the lump because she hated the feeling of it.

While not my bed at home I don't get the backaches I can get at OKW and BWV if I lay in bed too long. I don't think I have ever had a backache from a bed on the Magic (cruised 3 times). Could be the bed or could be the amount of time I spend swimming and in the hot tub.

I thought the beds were quite comfortable. Then again we fell into the beds totally exhausted each night and slept like logs until the wake up call. If you have any kids along, let them answer the wake up call. One day we got Mickey and one day it was Goofy!

I too thought the lump was very uncomfortable if you happened to lay on it otherwise they are not that bad. As someone else said you are exhausted and the rocking of the boat helps alot too.

I have a really bad back which results in some painful mornings but I had no problems on the Wonder. The rocking of the boat and being up late make for a very sound night's sleep!

The bump was there but I could avoid it easily. We didn't stay in the bed too much anyway. There were way too many, and better, things to do!

I even got up at 3AM to wander the ship and take photos. It's amazing how few people are out then!

THe worse things about the beds are they are very low my DH has bad knees and is tall and this is the worse thing for him the bed. We are booked for our 5th Disney Cruise and not looking foward to the bed if we make it! DH had surgery and still not sure were going!

We found the cruise beds to be much more comfy than the disney resort beds. The disney resort beds are the worst (at wdw anyway).

The beds on DCL were much more comfortable then the beds we've slept on at ASMO and CBR.
