tammeb..I am actually Sarah's mom, Mary Jo. Never did make it to Redmond but did the Boeing plant in Everett (awesome) and the whale watch around the San Juan Islands (got to see all three pods of whales)--hope to get back to your area soon and glad to meet someone from there!!

Tullirose...did I get #2800??

Amy..missed the first part of Survivor due to having to go to work to type Sarah's report..who won the reward challenge and what was it? I was surprised that they got rid of Johanna since it seemed that Shawna wanted to go. Have a great night. Going to bed! Mary Jo

Well, actually you didn't because I was looking at an unrefreshed post count and thought we had a few more to go when I posted my "go for it" post. But I since deleted it and now you can claim ownership to post #2800!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

Bedtime for me too.

Welcome to Tammeb, As Sarah's mom stated our kids are a little too young for your boy, but I'm sure he will find others to hang with.
I spent a few summers at Fort Lewis, near Tacoma when I was a young girl. (long time ago) LOL! Loved it. I remember looking at Mt. Rainer every morning while I walked to the stables. We rode in the "bluffs" and picked green apples, saw huge deer, and enjoyed life. If it rained we hung out in the clubhouse at the stables and cleaned our tack, or muck out other people's stalls just for the fun of it. Talk about horse crazy!! LOL
Well got to get some sleep now. Thank G it's almost Friday!
Later, Ave

You must be a military brat... I see Mt Rainier on my 45 min commute in the morning when it's clear :-)

Rosemary,

No we have not left. THe trip isn't until June.

tammeb,

WELCOME~~~!!!!!

Nancy,
I am still here, just got off work.

Welcome aboard TAMMEB!!!

I heve my breakfast break right now 0945 CET, but will check the Cruisetoberfest-Mailbox during my lunchbreak around noon.

Rosemary,
thanx for telling tammeb the required details.

Cathy,
phonetically it's correct, grammatically it's Gesundheit - Thank you.

But this time Pixie Dust just isn't enough, I have a coarse throat, a bod cough and slight fever. Nevertheless I'm at the office, because we have a very busy week. The Halfmarathon will have be cancelled for me :( but I'll do some 10km (6.25-miles) races in May instead and a Halfmarathon in June or July. And Anja's gonna join me for the 10km-races :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hey Tammy,

I got your mail - But you sent it to my public adress instead of cruisetoberfest2@yahoo.com ;) No problem, the important thing is, that you now are an official member of the crew:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I"ll do an update this weekend. As I have a cold caused by bacteria, running 13 miles at 7.5mph is out of question :( It could drive the bacteria right into the heart-tissue and damage it severely. I've got to see my doc after work and get a prescrition for some antibiotics. But at least I will now have time to do an update.
 :p <----- Torn between these two ;)

WELCOME TAMMAB!!

Eric, what a "bummer"!To work like you did to be able to run, then getting sick:(

I posted a message on the "other" board about the Scavanger Hunt, and got the follwing reply:

YES YES YES...Do it....this is so much fun. We've actually done two now and both times it was new and very exciting. They work really hard on all their clues and everyone in town is sooooo helpful and accomodating.

Amy...I can relate to the power bills! 2 years ago we started the "budget plan" The figure your yearly power cost and divide it by 12, giving you a monthly bill which is the same every month. Then once a year they "balance it" either giving you a refund, or an adjusted bill.

I also visited Washington State when I was 11 and 12 y/o(went with TwinAve). It is a beautiful place. In 2004 I am going to visit one of my sisters in Portland Or. I hope to be able to do some sight seeing along the coast while there.I also would love to visit Alaska one day.

RellingTwin,

At first, I thought you had more people for me, but it's great news that they are getting such great reviews. I can't wait until we get to experience it for ourselves :bounce: . Our count is at 52 people.

Tina :)

Welcome Tammab ! And we grow and grow...I think word just spreads what a fun group we are !:p :p Soon we will take over the ship ! Watch out Disney !:smooth: LOL

Nancy (CI)..I have watched "Days" since the first time it aired...It is however, the only soap I watch...

Eric...:( Sorry to hear you're ill...after all your hard work to miss the run is sad !

Hi and Hugs to everyone....

Mary Jo..waiting for some info on dates...talk to you on Monday...

Bette

Tammab,

Ya wanna Scavernger Hunt in Key West? Check it out on page 184 for more information.

Tina :)

Viking,
Sorry to hear about the half marathon cancellation! Hope you get feeling better and are back on your feet in no time.

Dan

Are we having chat tomorrow morning? Please let me know so that I can get my lazy butt out of bed.

Take care guys
Dan

Viking.......where in Germany are you? My sister lived there for 12 years in Immenstadt. She worked for Bosch (sp?) for awhile before moving back to the states.

Hope you feel better soon. Strep throat is going around here and my kids just got over it.

Keeping our fingers crossed that we don't get it too!

Hope

Wow, what a wonderful welcome! You guys are so nice...

Again, this is my first cruise so I'll be up for just about anything. Number one son slapped my hand for asking about all the single ladies (since he technically has a girlfriend) but is looking for folks to hang out with and loves the kids. He's GREAT with kids as a matter of fact. Works in our church children's program and everything.

Anyhow, yes, I'm a doting mom, but now that's he's 18, I suppose I'll have to back off a bit.

OK, I already mailed Viking, but I'll tell the rest of you now so you can share in my joy... I'm a gastric bypass patient (same as Al Roker) and I've lost 150 lbs in the past 10 months. This cruise is also to go out and enjoy Disney for the first time as #1 a non-handicapped person and #2 a healthy person (I see a new swimming suit in my future). I can't wait to do all the things I couldn't before like snorkling and bicycling and walking for miles along sandy beaches and not being embarrased to have my picture taken ect.

I love living in the Pacific Northwest. I'm sure that anyone would love to visit here as well. I thought several times about moving to Orlando when I retire (still many years away) but I don't think I could. I'll just pay the airfare once or twice a year...

Sorry to hear you're ill Viking. I was invited to do the half-marathon next year but I'm not sure yet. We'll see :-)

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Goody, More new folks have joined us!

I was looking over my DIS info planner binder last night to see how many were on Cruisetoberfest I and CruisEARS and this year is by-far the largest group.

We may just have to line up for pictures by state ... all the PA people in one picture, all the OH people in another, all the NY people in another, all the TN people, :smooth: all the German people in another, etc etc.

:jester: Do you suppose that the ship will list to one side, if we hold our Sail-A-Way on the top deck, say "port side".

Eric ... ?, does the passporter come in a size that I can use for my 7 ring binder? 5.5 x 11 inches. And could you post another link to it .... Thanks and hope you are felling better --- Hey don't you have a resident nurse in the house! hehehe

Hope everyone's going to have a Very Mickey Weekend!
