Or, if I can swipe it from her!!! He he he!!!

Good morning!!! Sorry, I just had to do it.

I did it, I did it, I got 5000!!!! Wow, that feels good. Much better than this yucky cold!!!

We got our check last week sometime. I didn't even know it was coming. What a suprise!!! I did hear something the week before on the news about "check", "government", "refund", but I didn't think that it was for me (because, of course, it never is). So, I was quite suprised when $400 was in the mail.

GREEDY GIRLS!!! :jester:
But this way I do not have to worry about a bad conscience when our team wins The Hunt :teeth:

Good Morning All. We had six client visits yesterday. Another full day today. Mike

Good morning everone!!!

We got our $400 check too. I think I'll keep that for our trip.:) :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I just love getting money!!!!

Boy...we still haven't gotten our $400.00 yet from Uncle Sam...I think that I saw on the rebate web site that Sam's social security number (last two digits) will be the last ones to have checks sent out to them!!!

SueEllen...I will email you Sarah's email address for Tara and maybe they could start corresponding...Sarah was wishing she would have made it to Baltimore to meet her. I think I saw where you live in Richmond so maybe sometime (even after the cruise) we could get together because we have a timeshare in Williamsburg and go down there at least once or twice a year even if just for a long weekend. Look for the email.

I asked Sarah if she would be willing to babysit for anyone who cannot get into Flounders, and she said yes and she works cheap...SHE WORKS FOR SMOOTHIES!!! So if Piglett33; Alikat and SueEllen need her services (along with SueEllen's daughter), just let us know!! If she needs references, you can check with the people who have met her from these boards!!!

Windermere...we did ride the ducks and have the quacker lips to prove it!! Mike even took a picture of me with mine!! And no Eric, you cannot put it on the homepage!! I still want to maintain some dignity on this cruise!! And we weren't even drunk riding the ducks!!! Mary Jo

Hi Everyone, back to work today.

Wish we could have done the Ducks but Jim wasn't up to it on Saturday -- I had to whine to see the fort. Major history buff here.

Luckily he was feeling better on Sunday. Toe is still sore but not quite as painful.

A laugh for Mary Jo -- my DS did make it home for the weekend. Recap by my mother -- he came in at 7-7:30 Friday nite and took an hour shower, then went out to meet friends, he and friends came home at some point and went in and out all night, Saturday slept in, took another hour long shower and then went clothes shopping (knew this already as bags were left on the kitchen table), had friends over again Saturday night and they wandered around the house all night, ordered out Swiss Chalet (knew this as containers were left in family room along with empty pop cans), up early on Sunday morning as he father came to drive him back. Biggest complaint was that he left all the lights on. Just laughed as it was a typical weekend at our house when DS is around, my mother just doesn't tend to notice. :)

Still tired.

Fiona

No codes out yet for the fall. However, it looks like when they come out will only go until 10/1 which is the end of value season.
I finally just made reservations with AAA rate, better than nothing. Even the nurses rate at Swan/Dolphin wasn't available for 10/18-10/20.

Nancy

Forgot -- Bette, I do counted cross stitch. I'm just learning so if any of the patterns aren't too complicated I'd be interested.

Fiona

Fiona ... So nice to see you guys and glad Jim's foot is better. I still can't believe you and Papa drove so far to the meet BUT we did have a lot of laughs.

Tina ... Just wondering if your family is related to the "Hopkins Plaza" family. Hey ... I was sending something to our office there and said OMG maybe Tina is famous and didn't ell us! Again, thanks for getting the meet together and picking up the cake for Kathy. Hope Baltimore has recovered from our outing.

We've had some thunder storms in the afternoon and nights so as soon as I'm not afraid they'll fry my puter ... the logo's will be e-mailed to everyone.

:Pinkbounc I can vouch for Sarah, she is a really level headed kid and a pleasure to be around. I'd have her watch my kids in a heart beat without any worries. FYI

Back to work ..............

You guys post WAAYY too much to keep up with things!!!

Okay to answer the questions--my son will be turning 2 in September, so there are only a few weeks between them Alikat.

SarahsMom--Tara will be thrilled to have some email pals to meet in advance. We are not far from Williamsburg--so the girls could keep in touch--especially if you hit Busch Gardens--Tara is a coaster nut!

We could always work something out with the girls watching some of the little ones--Tara is an incredible big sister and a very responsible babysitter. There are quite a few on the boards here who have met her and know her. Tina (Hopkins) being one of them.

We missed the Baltimore meet because I recently lost my job and it just wasn't feasible to do the lunch cruise (as much as I would have LOVED to have done that!) I've been out of work for a month now and it is nice being home all of the time--but stinks for any kind of cruise vacation fund (ummm, can we say--buh bye! :( )

As for the list--what list? I must have missed something in the millions of pages of posts here! :teeth: Let me know what list you are referring to.

I still haven't found the brunch details yet.

Sue Ellen (who is lost in over 5000 posts here!)

Fiona...have to laugh at DS antics...Sarah just called me...claims she is up since 10:00 but forgot to call me..all I know is I usually get up to go to the bathroom between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. and the tv and light are still on!! Oh to be young again!! I am going to send you a piece from our paper on Gettysburg (which I love!!) because they are supposed to be having a big re-enactment there sometime in August. Another really neat place to visit but it is further down Interstate 81 is Harper's Ferry, West Virginia...where John Brown started his uprising!! I will send it to your office since I have that address!!

Glad to hear that Jim's toe is feeling much better!! Mary Jo

Bettemom..just sent you an email for our meeting on the 20th!!

When in Sept? Emily's birthday is Oct 5th. Right now her favorite things are the Wiggles and Dora the Explorer. And, she's just loving to learn new words. I can't believe how much she is talking right now.

I'll be so nice to see someone on the cruise with another child her age. We can't wait!!

The Gettsyburg Annual July 4th weekend reenactment was moved to Aug this year because of all the rain we had in June. The fields were so wet that they couldn't allow all those troups running through the fields and pitching their tents. The people of Gettysburg were quite upset about the date moved, especially since it was done only about 2 weeks before the events.

The people in Gettsyburg are constantly upset about something regarding the historical batttlefield. They fought for years about the Tower that eventually was torn down. There is to be a new Visitor Center built. However, the Town People didn't like the location so it has been held up for a long time. In the meantime, valuable archives are being destroyed from the humidty in the old Visitor Center.

Ok, now that I bored everyone with all those interesting facts. Back to work.

Nancy
