Cathy - Didn't really think that Harm did kill her but who did? Also who's the father of the baby?

Nancy -- there were 48,000 fans at the Blue Jays game last night -- I think it was advertised as a sell out but there were some empty seats left although not that many. Although I think the team owners lost some money they probably gained on the food concessions and souvenirs etc. Although we keep saying that we aren't going to buy anything we always end up buying something to eat -- last night it was popcorn and ice cream.

We are going again tonight so I'll be curious to see what the crowds will be like.

There are some really good deals right now in terms of hotels etc. There is one deal going where for $125 CDN you get a ticket to either The Lion King or Mamma Mia, a Jays ticket, a stay in a hotel and a 3 course dinner at a restaurant downtown. Not a bad deal at all.

Gotta get some work done although it's nice and sunny outside and I'd rather be outside or even better at WDW.

Since I know the goal is for this thread to reach a maximum number of posts, just thought I'd throw this out for your amusement.

Gee - Do you think Captain Henry suddenly realized he is not my most favorite Captain? LOL.

Great pic, Shari!!!!!! Does this mean you've been to the gym? Did you work out? And what outfit did your wear? Or what is the reason for the Captain looking like this? :jester:

Thanks for the praise for the translation. To be honest, it was more or less a first time for me, because we were NOT allowed to translate in school. Our teacher insisted that translating doesn't make you understand a language. We used a picture dictionary in the beginning and later on English/English-dictionaries to make us think English.
I'll put the the Stern-issue in a piece of our luggage we won't use before Florida to make sure I don't forget it.

Yes - I photographed him from the gym. Did I work out? Rarely :p. I honestly don't remember what I was wearing at the time. In truth, the Captain was YAWNING! He had been standing around for some time looking bored. He finally looked up and was shocked to see me photographing him just as he made his big yawn. Too bad about the light reflection by his eye. I could have edited it out, but decided not to bother.

By the way, I finally got around to posting some of my pics from the Halloween Wonder aside from the few I had with my journal. Better late than never I guess.

The photo is quite amusing. It looks to me as if you caught him suddenly realizing his photo was being taken while he was in the middle of a yawn.

But I must beg to differ. The goal of this thread is not to reach a maximum number of posts. The goal of this thread is to get to know one another prior to cruising and therefore, hopefully, enhance our vacation experience.

Ha! I knew it. I typed my reply and then had to answer the telephone before hitting submit button. Once I posted, saw your reply.

I must be psychic..... or is that sickic? :jester:

Or to get aware that all the other people on this thread are absolutely insane - And find a ship with "normal" people on it :jester:

40-ish, married 17 year couple, looking for tablemates. Fun loving, Disney freaks (well, one... wife), looking for interesting conversation and good times. Love kids, older aldults or whatever. One condition, late seating dinning.

How are we all seated? The couple we were travelling with had to cancel (buying a new home). I'd rather sit among friends than strangers.

Let me know.
Tina :)

Tina--- We would be glad to be tablemates with you. I was thinking about posting if anyone was interested. We were with Bill and Elaine last year, but she hasn't posted in a long time and if they are still planning on coming we can link them in with us later. Last year we had 6 at our table and it was very nice. Hope we can get together for a mini meet.

I am waiting for the southwest airline rates to come out for our trip. They are still only booking until 9/8. We are doing AirTran for our May trip. If that works out may just do them again. Both SWA and AirTran have those non stop flights from BWI to MCO.

Elaine--It's been awhile since you posted. Everything ok?

Nancy

Shari,

We should have some kind of contest for a caption to go under your photo of the captain. I am not good at that sort of thing, but I bet someone could come up with a cleaver line for it.

Nancy

Tina and Nancy,

you may contact Dan od DanandScoctt for assistance with seating - He's our official Maitre D'.
It is so great to be seated with friends from our thread. We were seated together with Ellen & Dave (CheesePlease) and Cathy & Art (@GoofyNut) on Cruisetoberfest I and really enjoyed it. And we're looking forward to dining with them - and Rosemary & Richard (Tulirose/-rich), Kathy & Mike (Papa) and Nancy & George (Windermere) - again.
We'll have a whale of time again!!!

Yesterday the Euro soared to a new 4-years-high with being worth $1.11. If it stays at that level or becomes even stronger our vacation will be a lot cheaper :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
This leaves more money for shopping in the States :p

padisneyfan,
We'd love to be your tablemates!

Viking,
Looks like you have a FULL table.

dan and scott,
HELP! I'm sending you an e-mail, too.

Good Morning ScavengEars!
Tina :)

Hopkins:

Andy and I would be interested in joining your table too. We are in our 40's no kids and have late dinner seating. Do you want to?
How do we hook up if you are interested?

Arlene

Arlene and others interested in linking dining reservations. You just need to get in contact with your travel agent and give them your dcl reservation numbers or dreams numbers and have them linked with each other for dinner. Then you will be together for dinner. We dined with Art and Cathy (@GoofyNut)last year and with Rosemary and Rich the year before. It makes for a wonderful cruise. Mike

Arlene and Andy (ARL01) and Nancy and Norm (padisneyfan) consider yourselves part of the "Hopkins Table". That makes 6 people at our table. I can link us up all together, but first, do we want to stay at six or the more the merrier like the "Viking Table"?

Maybe 8 total?

How big is that Viking table anyway?

Tina and Bill ;)

Hopkins:

I vote for the more the merrier.

Since we booked our cruise directly through disney how do we link the dinner reservations?

Arlene

Arlene,
We booked directly with DCL, too. All I need to do is get everyones reservation#'s and link our reservations together and ask that we would like to dine at the same table. Hopefully, we can get four (4) more people interested in joining the "Hopkins Table". We'll let this go a little while longer and see if we get more people.

To 10/11/03 Cruisers,
Anyone else interested in joining the "Hopkins Table"? We are at six people. We need four more.

Thanks.
Tina :)

I think it is about 12 feet by 4 feet :teeth:

We are 12 right now - Please no jokes about "The Dirty Dozen";)

On the Boards I once read that the maximum is 14, but it can be wise to leave a spot free: On Cruisetoberfest I we had a table for 7, but were 6 only. And on the first formal night we were joined by the Ship's Officer Bengt, a very nice guy from Norway. We had a wonderful evening asking him everything about the ship and staying in AP until the waiters started preparing the tables for breakfast:p

And finally: The table's name is "Veterans1" - see our List also!!
If you give your table a name too , you would provide me with a reason for another update ;)

Veterans1?... What kind of table name is that! How about the table that's going to be called "Better than Veterans1". LOL! Honestly, what's the deal with the name? For simplicity we could be called Veterans2, though this is my first cruise with you all.

Tina :)
