I always said the all the people in china didn't start driving overnight. heck we couldn't build enough cars that fast.

Let's see...oil is way down and dropping....gas and oil supplies are HUGE now...YET the gas is going up in price! What am I missing? What's their poor excuse now for raising the prices of gas?
Oh wait....they stopped drilling to lessen the supply and of course they raise the price first in anticipation. Now the offshore drilling possibilities are being met with that darn red tape. We should be back up to $4 a gallon soon enough. No rhyme or reason for this pricing. Other than greed.

oh, i forgot...let's shut down refineries to shore up profit margins...sigh

I know up here in Canada they shut down most our refineries in the last decade. We ship our oil to you guys down south to refine then you sell it back to us. No wonder prices stay so high. Oil companies keep playing games like this. This of coarse is pure speculation kinda like they do. they speculate there will be a problem lets jump the price up and gouge just incase.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if, when the time came to sell, the oil speculators couldn't find anybody to buy it and they had to not only come up with the money for all that oil, but someplace to put it, too?
