Our younger dd, 9, would like to go to CRT for bfast but after looking at the menu there is only one thing (danish) that my older dd, 13, will eat. What would you do? Is it possible to have dd13 just come for the entertainment without eating and just get her room service earlier that morning?
Should I split up the family (dad with dd9, mom with dd13 at another restaurant). I already suggested CP to dd13 but she refuses to eat with Pooh! What would you do???
We are staying at the WL, if that matters.

Here's what I would do...I would tell my 13 year old she can't dictate the family vacation! She refuses to eat with Pooh? She is on vacation at Disney, for crying out loud! How horrible could it be to eat with Pooh? It's still better than being in school, or at home, right???? :)

In our family, Mom and Dad take everyone's requests into consideration, and come up with a family plan. Our family sticks together on vacation, which might mean that our son sits through a breakfast at CRT for his sister's sake, and our daughter rides Buzz Lightyear five times in a row because her brother wants to. That's what families are all about, in my opinion.

By the way, I do know that the reservations for CRT are prepaid, and you can't pay for 3 and get a table for 4.

Have a great trip!

Ok...But I hate to spend the adult price ($30ish) for dd who will only eat one thing. I can't be the only one with a picky eater, can I? I still want to do CRT but wasn't sure if I should split us up or basically waste the $30 on an uneaten meal.

I'd split up. No way you'd want to pay CRT prices for a non-eater.

What about taking your older DD to Kona Cafe for breakfast? It's in the Polynesian on the monorail route. There's no characters and the food is good. You can check out the menus here or on all ears to make sure there's something she'd eat.

She won't eat bacon, sausage, fruit or anything like that? My DD is very picky too and would not touch the french toast, eggs or potatoes. However, she loves meat so the waiter just brought her extra bacon and sausage for her breakfast. They will bring you more of anything being served if you ask. The other option is to call Dining reservations or even the restaurant directly and ask if there are other options that might be available to her that she likes. I found the restaurants to be very accommodating with food requests if they can be.

I would say all of you go together just for the experience as a family but it is a lot of money.

Good luck whatever happens!
