I really really want to try CRT.. but I have 2 boys who could care less about Cinderella! :lmao:

Anyone go with only boys? and did they enjoy it? I think just being in the castle would be cool..

also.. food? is it good??

thanks!!! :thumbsup2

We went last November, my boys were 2,7 and 11. From what I understand the princesses are now there for dinner but the castle is the one place they want to go back to. I think the whole idea of being in the castle and getting the swords is what they liked so much. They too could have cared less about the fairy godmother but they loved it. I just booked our November trip for this year and we are thinking that if we don;t get offered the free dining we will maybe try the quick service plan. ANyway I asked them if they would mind eating counter service for most meals and the only request they had was to eat at the castle. I think your boys will like it.

For the food, I had the chicken..not so good. My dh and ds had pork w/ mushrooms (don't know the name) and it was delicious. My dh had a crab cake app. that was really good and I had the blt salad, not so good. I don't remember what the kids choice was but he didn't complain so it must have been o.k.

My DS8 requests it every trip. He couldn't care less about the princesses either - he's never been into character greetings/autographs anyway. But he really enjoys the castle - he gets that it's special, he likes the food, loves getting the cheapo plastic sword and somehow thinks the bacon is better there than anywhere else in the world. ;)

Actually, I just remembered we took our nephews there in 1999 - 3 boys ages 5-7-9. They loved it, too.

My son loved the character breakfast in the castle when he was 5, and again at age 8. The princesses made quite a fuss about what a handsome prince he was; he left there tattooed with lipstick stains all over his face, and he didn't mind at all! The decor in there is very cool and not very girly at all, armour and banners and all. They know how to entertain boys, too! Go and have a great time!

My DS7 has requested to go there this year. He LOVES Cindy. The other boys could care less so we're doing it!
