CRT was BOOKED ALL DAY!!

Well, I didn't get an ADR at CRT despite being online AND on the phone precisely at 7AM EST. I think maybe our group size had something to do with it - we're a party of 9. Although I really wanted CRT for my neice (1st timer) we have been there before so we're okay with doing a different princess meal and saving a credit for another meal.

So, here's what we got:

Overall, I'm really happy with these!

Sorry about CRT. Were all your others at the times you wanted? We make ours in two weeks and just wondered. We are also wanting Crystal Palace and Tusker House at 8:00AM. I have them towards the end of our trip and it is just two of us so not too concerned.

Strange... CRT hasn't been booking as much lately. Maybe the date are not open yet. Keep looking, I'm sure you will get something soon. BTW your ressies look good.

Since you aren't going until August, there is still a lot of time for people to change their plans so I would suggest checking on line frequently to see if something opens up. Since CRT requires a credit card at the time of booking, people who decide not to go will cancel their reservation.

Try again at exactly 180 days out. We often have better luck at the 180 mark, than at 180 + 10. It's worth a try anyway. GL

The rest of our ADRs were pretty easy to get... Ohana is a little later than I would have liked, but I'm okay with it. Especially because we haven't booked our flight so the later time slot gives us more flexibility there, too.

I was definately surprised that I had trouble with CRT, but my best guess is that our large group size (party of 9) was limiting?

Thankfully, we have been to the castle in the past.

The more I think about it, the more OK I am with NOT getting Cindy's. We haven't done 1900 Park Fair ~and~ I was able to book another meal by saving the credit (with CRT being a signature dining restaurant).

did you try getting two reservations - one for 4 and one for 5 people at the same time? Just a thought!

This is what I had to do for CRT for my party of 11...a table for 5 and a table for 6.

I don't think CRT is taking a reservation for more than 6, so I broke mine into 2 groups. I'm not sure if this is a recent change but the CM that I was working with seemed to be puzzled by the fact that she couldn't get a reservation for 7 at any time when I was at the beginning of my 180 + 10 window.

Honestly, we weren't impressed with CRT the last two times we went and won't go back. The food was ok and bad, and we felt really rushed the whole time we were there.

However, 1900 Park Fare is a family favorite and we go every trip - both breakfast and dinner. I really don't think you'll be disappointed/

I was just looking at your ADRS...we will be there the same week and got Crystal Palace and Tusker the same days/times as you! Like you said, now we just have to wait six months!!
