I have reservations for a 1:10 CRT lunch (I assume?) and a 5:00 Epcot/Norway Princess dinner for my three year old. I'd like to cancel one, but don't know which to cancel. Which is a better experience? I realize that Cinderella is only at the CRT, but will the other princesses be there at 1 in the afternoon? Or is the only option for dining with other princesses in Epcot/Norway?

I would do the castle. Just for the atmosphere alone.

I'm also afraid of the dinner menu at Akershus. ;) We did breakfast there and loved it!

Our princesses prefer CRT...and they recall their dining experience over the the Norway experience. Maybe its partly due to the castle. As the parents I enjoyed the castle more too. Norway seemed rushed and the food line was poorly maintained with the other part of the meal OK.

I would also note we have seen near riots with crowds ready to hang the check-in CMs on more than one occasion, especially when we exited the restaurant, since they were so far behind in seating guests.

We did Akershus and loved it. BTW, Cinderella was there -- at Akershus, they just don't make guarantees that any particular princess will be there. For our group, the little girls (all friends) had different favourite princesses and they all got to see their own (just the luck of the draw)

I wouldn't be afraid of the menu -- if you like eating at Ikea, you'll like it at Akershus. The appetizer buffet also has a lot of basic foods that most people enjoy. The kids meals are the same as throughout WDW, just better IMO.

Unless your 3 y.o. is a die hard Cindy fan, I would choose Akershus.

For us neither!
:)We had a great time back in 2005 at CRT but it was only 1 table service credit back then, we did the Princess dinner in Norway this year and it was okay but our total fave is Cinderellas Gala Feast we never miss it, its in the Grand Floridian, it has far more character interaction with dancing and things and each character was so attentive to each of the families. Its just so elegant being at the GF we always get some great pics with our dds in there princess dresses around the resort before dinner too.

We have done both and CRT wins hands down. We did not like the food at Akershus, we loved the food at CRT. Plus the whole atmosphere and being in the castle is just unbeatable. Plus the whole cerimonial thing they do with the kids and the wishing start is great at CRT. We are hoping to do CRT again in Oct!

Stitck with castle!!!! The other princesses will be there and everyone needs to eat in the castle!!

We disliked the Princess dinner at Norway...I remember feeling too cramped. While I like the food at Norway I felt like the setting was incompatible with the Princess experience. In fairness the kids in our party loved it, but that was because of the Princesses.
