I noticed in the description for lunch at CRT that the girls and boys over age 3 get wands and swords. My son will weeks away from 3 when we go and I know he will be bummed not to get one. Since he will still be 2, we won't be buying him a plate, but I am wondering if they will sell us an extra sword. Anyone know? I would hate to have him be left out.

Anyone know what the quality of the swords are? Is it something I could pick up a shop and bring with us? Do they sell the same ones anywhere?

Thanks,
Michele

I can't imagine them not giving him a sword. CRT gave me a wand since I ate there on my birthday, so I don't think they'd leave him out.

Try asking- it can't hurt. As for the quality, I don' know as I've never seen the swords. The wands are pretty nice though. I have one from my 21st birthday last summer.

When we arrived up stairs to be seated the hostess gave all my children a wand and a sword , my kids are all over 4 but they even gave my 13 year old a sword. So I am just saying she did not ask an age just gave them to the kids and that is even before we were seated , so I really don't see them not handing him one when you enter.

I had the same worry last August. My oldest daughter was 8 and my youngest 20 months. They gave them both wands and I didn't even have to ask for the youngest one to get one. The waitress we had was very nice. They also gave my youngest a plate with two french toast sticks to eat for free. Again I didn't even ask, I just thought she would have to share with the rest of us. We really enjoyed our breakfast there and are going to give lunch a try this August.

I was wondering the same thing. I hope they give them toall the kids. My 3 are 2, 4 and 6. The 2yo will not be a happy little princess if she's left out  .

Last year my son (who was 2) received a sword from the hostess without me even asking. :goodvibes

They are just plastic and have no pieces that could come off so I can't imagine a problem with it. And they have PILES of them! We were just there for dinner last week and one of my DDs wanted the sword instead of the wand and that was no problem either.

My DD2 also got a wand and we didn't even ask for it. I think your DS will get one even under age 3. Don't worry. Even if he doesn't get one, just ask. I don't think it will be a problem. Regarding the swords, I can't tell you about the quality of it since my dd got a wand, but the wand broke a few days after we got home.

My DS was only 15 months last September, and they gave him one no questions asked.

Have fun,
