CRT - some questions

We have lunched booked at CRT. I am very excited for dd. She will only be 3, but she's telling everyone she's having lunch with Cinderella Anyway I didn't do a whole lot of research when I booked this lunch, I just thought it would be the best princess experience for us.

What all does the whole Royal Table experience entail? Are the pictures included with the reservations or do they cost extra? Are tips included or do I budget for that?

Any advice or experience sharing is greatly appreciated

We're booked for breakfast a few days after Christmas. It's my understanding that photos and tip are included.

Pictures downstairs guaranteed with Cinderella are included in price. Upstairs girls get wands and boys swords. Three course meal and soft drinks. four princesses circulating room (various not cinderella) and tip included.

We love this meal - not for the food but for eating in the icon of WDW. The building inside is very nice. Is a must-do each trip. Even DS who is too cool to smile half the time loves visiting the castle although of course he insists he only puts up with it for his sister.

thanks for posting this! i was wondering the same thing. i *thought* i read somewhere that they give the girls magic wands or something... oh well, i'd also love to get the details from experienced CRT goers!

eta - hey pp, do you know what kind of magic wands? do they light up? i only ask becuase dd sleeps w/ her tinkerbell light up magic wand, and if i could leave this at home and give her the light up cindy one that would ease my mind... i worry about it breaking in the luggage, and worry that if we try to carry it on the plane they won't allow it!

Oh that makes me happy knowing that the boys get swords! My sons are reluctantly going, but now when I tell them they get swords they will be very excited!!!

I'm not sure if I will have dd wear her princess dress or not. She is not into her dress up clothes at all right now and will only wear them for about 5 minutes. I will probably bring it in our backpack just in case she wants it on.

I'm really looking forward to trying this restaurant out with our two little girls next year. One will be just over a year and the other will be getting close to her 3rd birthday. Should be such a fantastic time for the whole family.

Oh dd will LOVE it!!! She loves the fairy godmother's wand! I'll still have to take our Tink one though, becuase she uses it as a night light. Odd, I know, but could be worse right? LOL!!!

we have been telling GD about our dinner with Cinderella and how we are going to be eating with cinderella---blah blah blah.


A few weeks ago we were looking at youtube stuff and she was a tad disappointed that cinderella wasnt sitting at the table with that little girl.

So glad we caught that BEFORE we got there-- Jada thought she was gonna sit at a table and eat with her and her prince.

I did lunch with DD 3 last trip. My only advice would be to make sure your daughter is not too tired.

We did BBB first, then there was a wait for photos with Cinderella as they were doing breakfast retakes for people due to a faulty camera. DD was over excited and overtired and we had a few tears.

She did eventually enjoy it but literally all she ate was a chocolate crown off the icecream. We got her lunch at cosmic rays afterwards!

With hindsight we should have done breakfast.

We had dinner there back in Jan 2007 and will be doing breakfast there in December. You get to meet Cinderella downstairs and get your picture taken, she doesn't appear in the Dining Room. The picture price is included in the package, and you should be able to have it added to your PhotoPass card.

If you want to see Cinderella during dinner, 1900 Park Fare for Dinner is a great place. You get to meet the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremayne, Anatasia, and Drisella. When we went back in 07 they head two female mice, Suzy and Perla. For all the times I have watched Cinderella, I don't remember them ever mentioning the names of the female mice.

Would they give a wand to a boy if you asked? My 4 yr old son and I are having breakfast at CRT in October. I was telling him about it and he was all excited to see the princesses in the castle. Then he asked if boys could have a wand too.

I'm sure they would. By default, boys will get a sword, however. Children of either gender also receive a "wishing star".

I'm glad they will switch if asked... I know as a kid I would have wanted the sword. Unless I was convinced that the wand could be a wizards wand and then I would have been ok.

I'm sure I would be considered weird though I mean the girl that didn't want to be princessy...

Our daughter (4.5) LOVED it, actually she was in a state of shock.
We took her to the bibbidi boppidy boutique about 2 hours before lunch (need to make reservations).

The food?
Who cares, she could have eaten chips and ketchup.

As an added bonus I ordered the chocolate slipper dessert a few days ahead as a suprise for the family.

The one tip I have to add is that if you do have a PhotoPass options make sure to go to a PhotoPass booth and request that all the pictures from the CRT lunch be transfered onto your card (there is no charge for that).

There should be a code printed on the back of the picture(s) you receive. Just enter that code an you should have access to the pictures. If there is no code, you can actually send an email to the Photopass folks, describing the people n the picture (# of people, ages, what they were wearing, etc.) and they'll add them to your account.

We had to do the latter after Akerhaus, since I couldn't find a PhotoPass code on the pictures. Relatively painless.
