CRT slipper dessert

To those of you who have had the awesome experience of one of these before....

When is it presented to you? Is it a replacement for the normal dessert, or is it brought out afterwards?

Thanks!!

Is this something you have to order ahead of time? Can you just order it as a regular desert? I am confused as to what it is.

We pre-ordered them for both my daughters last November & had them presented after our meal at Cape May. It was for their birthdays so they had written "Happy Birthday" in on the plate in chocolate and the waitresses sang Happy Birthday to the both of them. Both slippers were white chocolate filled with chocolate mousse and raspberries. I paid close to $20 each but it was totally worth it.

You have to order in advance. You can do it on phone/e-mail or in person. Last year I tried to order onsite at the concierge in the Poly and in the GF no one heard of it . Than I went to the CRT check in and ordered right there but you have to do at least 48 hours in advance.

It is a special dessert looks like Cinderella`s slipper. I have pictures of mine but I don`t know how to attach pictures :confused3

sorry to hijack, but can you ONLY get the slipper at CRT or can it be other restaurants?

ive seen it on hre at 1900 pf at the gf. last year when we went to disney for ds's 3rd bday and got a cake i didnt want dd to feel left out so i asked brian if there was anything he could suggest, so he told me they had the slippers at chef mickeys as well. so iwould presume you could get it at any of the contemp restaurants, ie the wave, cali grill.

I would LOVE to get this for my daughter (celebrating her 5th b-day) but we're having breakfast at CRT.

Anyone ever order one for breakfast? Would they do it? :rotfl:

I had my dd one ordered last Nov at the Garden View Tea Room and it was presented at the end.
