I have read on some other threads about a slipper you can pre-order for CRT. What is it and how much more does it cost?
Thanks,
Michael

We had one during our trip Christmas 2007. I want to say that it was around $12? I called and pre-ordered it to surprise my parents, and just had them write "Merry Christmas" around the plate. It was a chocolate (I think maybe dark chocolate) slipper with a white chocolate truffle (I think) inside. I'm sorry I don't remember specifics. I have a picture at home that I'll post when I get home from work. It wasn't the greatest dessert, but it was a really nice surprise and the way our server presented it to our table was wonderful.

We got one in May '08. Ours was dark chocolate with a chocolate mousse inside and berries around it. We got two for my kids (one birthday) and it was $15 each. THey loved them!! I don't have pics on this computer but you can image google search and it will pop up.

This is from August 2006. I'm not sure if it is still the same.

How do I go about ordering one for our dinner @ CRT?
Thanks for all of the info!
Michael

My husband ordered me one in May this year - it was $15. There are some pictures in the link below if interested! The mousse in the slipper was DIVINE!!! So rich!!

Sorry Michael, just replied to you on the other thread but see others have beat me to it. the picture is pretty accurate, just make sure you ask for a message piped if you want one.

I called DD and the CM knew the slipper existed, but could not find it anywhere to place a pre-order for it. She gave me the direct line to CRT and I called last night and got their voicemail. I left a message to call me so I could order one. I haven't heard from them yet. Should I be concerned? :confused3
There is # and email for CRT special events (proposals, etc...). Does anyone think that I should contact the special events line?
Thanks,
Michael

You need to call the cake hotline number to order it, rather than DD! Not sure of the number (I know its on the mums panel website) but someone here will know!

Just called the CRT cake Hotline and ordered it. It was $12.50 plus tax and grat. I thought that was very reasonable. Everyone thanks for your help!

Anyone know if you can order this and either pick it up to take back to the resort or have it delivered to the resort?

Also, is there anything comparable for a boy? Pirate hat/boat? etc.

Thanks!

Where did you find the CRT cake hotline phone number? I'd like to order one for my daughter's birthday. TIA!

The photo shown is exactly like the one we got there in November except the white chocolate was dark chocolate. It was so good, we devoured it. Be warned, every little girls around you will be at your table to look at it, at least they were for us. I kind of felt bad they all wanted one, but my DH said it gives them something to look forward to on their next trip.

So worth the $15!

I went to the WDW website and went to the "Mom's Panel" and typed in a search for "Cinderella Slipper Dessert' and it gave me all of the info including the phone #. I hope this helps!! pixiedust:
