CRT reservations question

I am planning a trip in May. I know that I would like to eat at CRT. We are planning on getting the deluxe dining plan for this trip. I have not booked the trip yet. We have AP's and I am kind of hoping for a discount on the room and then add the dining. My question is: when I call to book the CRT reservation I will not have made my room/dining plan ressie yet. Can I still book it and say I will have the dining plan? Or will I have to pay for it upfront and then have them credit my credit card back when we go? I know I will have to leave a credit card number to book it. I just want to know if I haven't book the room package yet if I will be charged right then.

I did the same thing. My CC was charged at the time of booking. My account was credited when I called back with my reservation # that included the dining plan.

They dont actually check your reservation, just tell them you have the DDP if you plan on adding it later
