CRT questions!

We are wanting to do CRT for dinner one night on our trip and made ressies for 6:25pm. Now we are just wondering about the food. From looking at the menus on Deb's site we do not see but about 5 things for appetizers and none of them really appeal to us. Do you know if that is all they have? Anyone ever been able to order anything else? Also we will be getting the filet of beef and the prime rib but do not like the side of potatos that come with it so is there anything we can substitute in the place of them? All we see on the kids menu is sweet potato fries and we definately do not like sweet potatos..lol So... any options for us here? Would they give us a baked potato or regular fries or something? Yea, I know we are picky...don't laugh!

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

We ate there for Mother's Day, the menu is very limited, it fits on one page. We had the beef filet, it was excellent. I'm sure they would allow you to substitute your side for another one on the menu but I wouldn't count on one that is not on the menu, like fries.

We ate there for dinner on our last trip--we had the prime rib and for dessert chocolate cake--very good. We had great service here! Our server even took our pick with our desserts! A piece of advice though--chocolate cake enough for 2 adults!(we asked before ordered)

Thanks for the thoughts. I am hoping that they will help out somehow! We are SOOO picky! lol

I am looking foward to eating there though and even more so to the cake dh will get the slipper I will get.

I've read somewhere in past posts that they have waffle fries. Did you look at LTT menu? They've gotten some positive reviews here.

Yeap, we just booked LTT for our first night. I think we will love it. So we will be doing it as well.

YUMM! Waffle fries! I hope they really do. That would be good!

they had castle fries (waffle fries) for lunch before it turned to princess lunches but I don't see that on the menu for dinner.

DH is going to try and ask if he can get them when we go to dinner in Sept because those fries are his favorite.

As far as subbing the sides, you could probably sub it for fresh fruit. I have to say though, the mashed potatoes are very good.

Ok, here is another funny question for you.. Think they will fix me up some fruit and stuff as an appetizer..

The mashed potatoes have other vegestables in them, it just tasted like lumpy mashed potatoes with Im not positive but I think I had a few chunks of carrots or something in mine. They were fine, not somthing I would want all the time, but hey they make up for it with everything else. The crispy spring rolls, the desserts, the pretzel bread and spread yum yum!!

Thanks for offering to check on that for me. I am soo hoping they do. I wish the mashed potatos were plain. I am not a veggie person.
