Hi all! I am a WDW vet but only as adults only trips. My upcoming trip in November will include my niece's age 8 & 6. We have CRT book for a Saturday morning at 8:55 am park opening now is currently 9:00 am. I was hoping for 8:00 am but 8:55 was the earliest I could snag for a party of 6. What time would you recommend getting to MK that morning? Will be staying on property and using transportation from AKL. Also how long should I expect breakfast to last and what time should I aim to get our 1st fastpass+. I would like to get my 1st 3 FP+ as: Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight and Enchanted Tales with Belle. I don't intend to stay all day in the MK with them but want to experience those attractions with them. It will be their 1st trip to the World.

TIA!

Can you move the ADR back any? I think you would be better off hitting attractions at 8:55 am rather than sitting down eating breakfast.

Depending on how late you plan on staying you could plan on hitting things standby from 8:45 - 10am or so (Splash, Thunder, Pirates, Jungle Cruise), then schedule your FP+ starting around 10 am (10-11, 11-12 and 12-1).

What I would do is hit the first FP+ at the beginning of the window, then hit other things standby that are close by (Little Mermaid Ride, Ariel meet & greet, Gaston Meet & Greet, princess meet & greet) then you can use your next two FP+ at like 11:50 and 12:05. Then if you can hit CRT that would be a good time to sit down, rest and eat while the standby crowds have built up.

Keep trying for an earlier ADR and don't give up. You'd be surprised how often things open up.

If you can't get an earlier one, you should plan to be at the MK gate by 8:30 to give yourself some buffer time in case of late busses, monorail delays, etc. I've heard some people say they don't let you in until 15 minutes before your ADR, but we've always arrived a half an hour or so before and have always been let in. It's only a 5 minute leisurely walk to the castle. Give yourself more time if you want to take pictures.

Breakfast will all depend on how long the initial line for Cinderella is, how long until your table is ready, and how long it takes for the princesses to make their way to your table. They usually come 5-10 minutes apart after they have been announced.
Under normal circumstances, it shouldn't take more than an hour. But if you are planning on scheduling FastPasses, give yourself an hour and a half just to be safe.
There's nothing worse than eating and constantly worrying about the time. You'll be in Cinderella's castle, so take the time and enjoy it ;)

I agree with PP at 8:55 you are sitting in a restaurant during prime touring times.
But if you want to keep that ADR and you want to experience all of the princess, you need to allow about 90 minutes to eat and see them all. It might be less, but it might not be.
I wouldn't schedule my first FP+ much before 10:45
Good Luck

But remember that if you schedule your first for 10, you can use it as late as 1100( at least), and then you could use your second at 1105 or so . . . . .

Exactly...at MK where there are so many opportunities to book additional FP+ you aren't really penalized for booking them early as much as you are in other parks. At 10 am Mine Train will have an extensive standby line and FP+ there would be hugely beneficial and depending what add'l FP+ you wanted it would give you an earlier window for whatever you booked.

Thank you for responses. I will keep checking for earlier ADR but if not possible I will book 1st FP+ for 10:15 or so. The kids will have 2 MK days with their parents but I will only have that morning until 1:00 with them. Hopefully, I can at least get in a few attractions after breakfast.
