I am kinda up in the air about CRT. What sitting is better Breakfast, Lunch, or dinner?

Also For those that have used ddp credits is it worth the 2 dining credit?

Cinderalla and the princesses only appear at breakfast and lunch. I believe dinner is with the fairy godmother (and I'm not sure who else). The food is fine, but definitely not worth two table service credits in and of itself. With CRT you are really paying for the experience more than the food. We took our 3-year-old daughter to breakfast at CRT and dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Cinderllea, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters for 1 table service credit). We had much better character interaction at Park Fare (she danced with Prince Charming!!) but seeing the inside of the castle also blew her mind and I wouldn't have missed it. Both are great experiences if you are into the princesses. If you are concerned about TS credits, however, consider Park Fare.

The food is worth 1 credit, the other credit is for the honour of dining in the castle. We have had breakfast and lunch. We preferred breakfast. The lunch menu was very limited and portions were, well, not enough for DH. The food was ok. If you are worried about the credits and still want to dine with princesses consider Akershaus in Epcot. We greatly enjoyed our lunch there. If you want Cindy and a good "show" consider 1900 PF at the GF for dinner...Cinderella, Prince, Step mother and sister--they were hillarious!

Thanks for the info....I am not worried about using the credits just seeing if it is worth it for the food...I am leaning more to California Grill then CRT but we have a DD that likes the princesses.

That's tough! It is like comparing apples to oranges. Hands down California Grill has the better food (by far!). Definitely not a princess experience though. If your children can stay up later for dinner, maybe you can convince your daughter to go to California Grill with the lure of watching Wishes from the roof terrace?

credits is the picture package that's included and gratuity is also included which it's not for other DDP locations.

Breakfast and Lunch are more interesting to me at CRT because you get to meet more princesses. Dinner doesn't interest me for that reason.

We had breakfast at CRT and enjoyed it. Was the food worth 2 TS credits? It was very good, but it was not twice as good as our breakfast at Akershus or any other meal we had for 1 TS credit. (I think the PP said it nicely - consider the 2nd credit for eating in the castle.)

Akershus is a wonderful place to get a nice meal and see 5 princesses for 1 TS credit.

My girls loved the Grand Floridian and thought that was where Cinderella had her special balls. We went to dinner at 1900 Park Fare and they loved it.

They did ask why they didn't get to go up into the castle though.

Would it be possible to pay for a CRT Breakfast OOP?

I would not consider it worth 2 credits value wise, but if you have the extra credits and want to try it, then go for it! (If you want to try it and are short on credits, it's one I'd pay out of pocket for)

It's definitely worth the 2 credits!! We ate there for dinner last time, and it's a must for our upcoming trip!! We loved the prime rib. It was so much fun too to eat in the castle. But the view alone doesn't make it worth it... the food is great!! :thumbsup2
